The V Festival happens in two cites, Chelmsford (Hyland Park) and Staffordshire (Weston Park). It's a two day festival, with 4 stages, 80 bands, and they all bounce back and forth to both locations playing once in each city. The V Festival event is held at two parks simultaneously which share the same bill;in V Festival artists perform at one location on Saturday and then swap on Sunday. The sites for V Festival are located at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park in South Staffordshire.The idea of v Festival came when the Pulp an English alternative rock band's famous vocalist and guitarist the front man of the band Jarvis Cocker announced that he will play two outdoor venus in consective two days in 1996.After his announcement Pulp's promotars and sponsers got together and decided to organised the shows on hayland park south-west of Chelmsford in Essex in southern England and Victoria Park Warrington so that the fans from both South and North can havr a chance to see the band in V Festival. Now the full line-up for the festival’s 15th anniversary, happening on 21 and 22 August, has been revealed and it will be headlined by American rockers Kings of Leon and British indie darlings Kasabian. The Prodigy, tereophonics, The Kooks, Paul Weller and Paolo Nutini are all on the bill as well. So far, the full confirmed line-up for the Virgin Media-sponsored event, which also takes place at Stafford's Weston Park, is as follows:
