RENOWNED rockabilly crooner Chris Isaak will be setting hearts-a-flutter next Sunday when he takes to the stage at Helsinki Hall of Culture. Known for his particular mix of charm and self-depreciating humour, Isaak’s performance draws on a career that has spanned some 25 years, beginning with his 1985 debut Silvertone.

After hosting his own TV show last year, The Chris Isaak Hour, his performance on Sunday is in support of his most recent release, 2009’s Mr. Lucky, which saw him teaming up with acclaimed Grammy-award winning producer John Shanks.

Outside of Chris Isaak academic studies, Chris Isaak spent much of his time training at a boxing gym and fighting as a light heavyweight. Chris Isaak later spent some time in Japan as an exchange student, and it was there that Chris Isaak first considered a career in music.
